Some Madisonville residents left in the dark during in power outage
In Hopkins County, about 1,500 residents left in the dark following a power outage.
That's according to our media partner, the Madisonville Messenger.
Officials say the lights went out Tuesday morning and didn't come back on for almost an hour.
Madisonville's electrical superintendent says the outage was west of Main Street and affected the industrial park.
Crews traced the problem to an open circuit breaker at the west substation on Nebo Road near Tucker Schoolhouse Road.
