Hopkins County Crime Stoppers 2012 Statistics | Crime

Hopkins County Crime Stoppers reported 293 tips from the public in 2012 that resulted in 51 'most wanted' captures and ten additional arrests.

Crime Stoppers Coordinator Lt. Jason Lutz says 11 of the arrests were for trafficking narcotics and nine were for drug possession.  There were also 18 suspects arrested for theft or receiving stolen property.

Two different tips led to the recovery and seizure of approximately 46 marijuana plants with a street value of $80,000.
