KSP Citizens Academy applications open | Events

The Kentucky State Police Post 2 Madisonville is now accepting applications for the 2012 Kentucky State Police Citizens Police Academy. The 10-week academy is slated to begin on October 17 and conclude on December 19.
Students will meet on Wednesdays from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., where they will learn about the many facets of the KSP including patrol, criminal investigations, and drug investigations. Students will also get to take part in simulated traffic stops and evidence collection.
The academy will be held at the Madisonville Community College. Applications may be obtained at the KSP Post 2 or by contacting Post 2 at 270-676-3313.
Applications may also be obtained by visiting http://www.kentuckystatepolice.org/posts/post2.htm. Anyone 18 years of age or older living within the Post 2 District.
