Hours later, Muhlenberg Co. accident victim's body discovered | News
A 28-year-old Greenville man was killed Tuesday afternoon in a Muhlenberg County accident.
According to the sheriff’s office, Christopher Warner was a passenger in a car driven by 25-year-old Jessica Hocker. The two were traveling east on KY 1380 when Hocker’s 1999 Chevrolet Cavalier went off the road and flipped over. Both were thrown from the vehicle.
Hocker was flown to Vanderbilt University Hospital by helicopter for treatment of her injuries.
Officers didn’t realize Warner had been in the vehicle until several hours later when a relative contacted Central Dispatch, expressing concern about Warner possibly being involved in the accident. Emergency workers went back to the scene and found his body approximately 85 feet from the vehicle, on the opposite side of the road, in head tall grasses.
