Investigations net five Muhlenberg Co. residents on meth charges | News
Several Muhlenberg County residents have been arrested in a span of less than two weeks on meth-related charges.
Three people were arrested Wednesday for trafficking in a controlled substance. Troy S. Lyons of Owensboro, Robert W. Noffsigner of Bremen and William C. Daniel of Greenville are all in the Muhlenberg County Detention Center.
Troy L. Piper of Drakesboro was arrested July 22 on charges of manufacturing meth after a detective says he found a lab near Piper’s home on Mudd Street. Piper is in jail under $20,000 bond.
Earlier this month, Heather Barber of Greenville was arrested on meth-making and controlled substance endangerment to a child. The arrest came as a result of an ongoing investigation stemming from an incident on June 5, when officers went to Barber’s residence with a search warrant. On that date, Jeremy Barber was arrested and charged with numerous drug related charges including manufacturing meth.
