Woman hurt in mishap on Pennyrile | News

A Madisonville woman was hurt in a two-vehicle collision that occurred on the Pennyrile Parkway around 6:20 Wednesday night.
Kentucky State Police say Jessica L. Bailey, 28, was driving a 2002 Oldsmobile passenger car northbound in the left lane. Jerry W. Durban, age 69 of Clay, KY, was driving a 2010 Ford pickup truck and hauling a trailer in the opposite lane.
Troopers say Bailey hit the back of Durban’s trailer, causing her to lose control of her vehicle enter the median where she struck a guardrail. Durban was able to maintain control of his vehicle and stopped on the shoulder of the roadway.
Bailey was transported via ambulance to the Regional Medical Center for treatment. Durban and his passengers were not injured. All were wearing seatbelts.
