HOPKINS CO., KY (WFIE)- A Nortonville, Kentucky man was arrested on Monday, and charged with attempted murder.
The Hopkins County Sheriff's Office says 48-year-old Gerald Frederick stabbed and cut 34-year-old Bradley Furgerson several times. Deputies say the incident started as a Loud argument and escalated into an attempted murder of Furgerson.
Deputies say they went to a home on Chestnut Street after several 911 hang up calls, and found the victim.
A warrant was issued for Furgerson who was later arrested. Frederick was lodged in the Hopkins County Jail.
The Hopkins County Sheriff's Office was assisted by the Kentucky State Police and Madisonville Police Department.
