Hopkins Co. fireworks update | News

An update on fireworks in Hopkins County:  County officials say no one is allowed to light off their own fireworks unless supervised by a licensed professional with a fire department truck on location. 

The ban will remain in effect until the county sends out another public notice. This also includes the burn ban that was already in effect.

The city of Madisonville's fireworks are still on for the 4th but that could be changed depending on the weather.
