Greenville teen hurt when car flips on 171 | News

The Kentucky State Police investigated a single-vehicle injury collision that occurred on KY 171, approximately four miles south of Greenville, on Friday, October 26 at 11:57 a.m.  

Preliminary investigation revealed that Erica D. Boggess, age 19 of Greenville, KY, was operating a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix southbound on KY 171 when she lost control of the vehicle on the wet roadway.  It exited off the right side and overturned.  The vehicle came to rest upright off the roadway.

She was transported via ambulance to the Muhlenberg Community Hospital for treatment.  She was not wearing a seatbelt.  There were no passengers.

Trooper Jon McGehee conducted the investigation.  The Greenville Volunteer Fire Department and Muhlenberg County EMS assisted at the scene.
