Three hurt when car flips trying to avoid deer | News
Three people were hurt late Wednesday night when the car they were riding in swerved to avoid a deer and overturned.
Kentucky State Police say it happened on Interstate 69, approximately six miles east of Dawson Springs (30 mile-marker) a little before 11 p.m.
Troopers say Raymond S. Sherrill, 41, of Dawson Springs, was operating a 2003 Pontiac Aztek southbound on I-69 when he lost control of the vehicle while attempting to avoid the deer. The vehicle traveled into the median where it overturned onto its passenger side.
Sherrill and his passengers, Sherrie Jones, 35, and Alex Sherrill, 14, both of Dawson Springs, were transported via ambulance to the Regional Medical Center for treatment. All were wearing seatbelts.
