KSP: Earlington man crashes truck; charged with underage DUI | News

Kentucky State Police say an underage driver was charged with DUI after his truck went off the road and overturned.

It happened Sunday afternoon on Givens Road, approximately two miles east of Hanson.

Troopers say Tyler W. Morgan, 20, was driving a Ford pickup eastbound when the passenger tires dropped off the shoulder of the roadway.  He lost control of the vehicle on the left shoulder and it overturned, coming to rest on its top.

Morgan wasn’t wearing a seat belt.  He was taken by police vehicle to Baptist Health in Madisonville where he was treated and released.  He was then taken to the Hopkins County Jail where he’s facing numerous charges including DUI and operating on a suspended or revoked license.
