HOPKINS CO., KY (WFIE)- Three Hopkins County students are charged with drug trafficking in two separate instances at a high school and middle school.

That's according to our media partner, the Madisonville Messenger.

School officials and law enforcement say both cases involved prescription pills.

The schools were west Hopkins Middle and Madisonville-North Hopkins High.

Several other students were disciplined under the district's code of conduct.
