Madisonville woman critical after accident | News
A 32-year-old Madisonville woman was injured Sunday night when her car struck a telephone pole and flipped over.
The Hopkins County Sheriff’s Department says Jaime D. Lile, 32, was heading west on Hicklin Road a little after 8 p.m. when she went off the road, striking the pole and then a ditch culvert. The 2007 Ford Taurus then overturned and came to rest in a field on the north side of the road.
She was taken to Baptist Health and then flown to St. Mary’s in Evansville where she was initially reported in critical condition. As of Monday afternoon, however, her condition had been upgraded to good.
The cause of the collision is still under investigation.
