Frances Moore turned 105 on Monday in Madisonville.

HOPKINS CO., KY (WFIE)- A Hopkins County woman is celebrating a century.

Frances Moore of Hanson, Kentucky, turned 100 on Monday at Madisonville's Brighton Cornerstone Health Care, where she stays they held a birthday party.
There was plenty of singing, stories, and birthday wishes. Frances even did a little singing of her own. While 14 News was there, she sang a little bit of Amazing Grace for those at her party.
14 News asked her what the key is to living to be 100.

"All you have to do is just live and live for the Lord. Just live for the Lord and he will prosper you. That's the only way you can do it," Frances said.

Moore says she never had any children, but she does have plenty of nieces and nephews who came to visit her on Sunday.
