Lexington man killed in Hopkins County wreck
A 30-year-old Lexington man was killed around 6 a.m. Saturday when his car left I-69 in Hopkins County and struck a guardrail. His name had not been released as of Monday morning because relatives haven't yet been notified.
The sheriff’s department says the man was traveling north near the 99-mile marker when his 2006 Nissan Murano left the roadway for some reason and hit the rail head on.
He died at the scene, according to Hopkins County Coroner Dennis Mayfield.
