Muhlenberg County man airlifted after wreck on KY 181 | News

A Muhlenberg County man was air lifted to an Evansville hospital Wednesday morning after his pickup truck crashed on KY 181.

The sheriff’s office says Larry D. Burden, 51, was driving southbound when he went off the right shoulder while rounding a curve.  The truck hit a culvert and went airborne, landing on the driver’s side and overturning.  It then slid off the road and into a ditch.

Deputies say Burden, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was thrown from the truck.

He was taken by ambulance to Cal-Maine Foods where a helicopter than transported him to St. Mary’s Medical Center for treatment of multiple injuries.
