Traffic stop leads to arrest of Muhlenberg Co. man on various drug charges | News
MUHLENBERG CO., KY (WFIE)- A traffic stop lead to the arrest of a Muhlenberg County man Friday night on several drug charges.
Around 9:30 p.m., a Kentucky State Police trooper says he
conducted a traffic stop on an SUV for traffic
violations on US 431 at the limits of Browder.
The driver, 33-year-old John Reid, was determined to be under the
influence of drugs and was placed under arrest.
KSP says the Muhlenberg County K9 unit located around
two grams of suspected Methamphetamine, 68 Hydrocodone pills and
drug paraphernalia in the passenger side door.
Reid is lodged at the Muhlenberg County Detention Center and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, trafficking in a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance 1st degree methamphetamine, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs/alcohol, and careless driving.
