Twenty eighth graders from James Madison Middle School signed up for Robotic Rock camp held at Madisonville Community College. The week culminated with a look inside robotic techonology used in the labeling department for the Carhartt Distribution Center. The kids were able to see parts of the factory often shielded from the public eye.
"We walked up," says Carhartt engineer Robin Walker, "and the first thing I hear from the kids when we saw the robots was 'Oh that's neat!"
Eighth grader, Libby Shockley stated, "You see them in like textbooks like the pictures of them but to see it actually working and people tell you about it, it's kind of cool to see it."
